Purdue Boilermakers football needs all the attention it can get these days. However, the Boilermakers have come up with a unique way of doing so in 2014, as they will sport bright yellow helmet decals in support cancer research.

It’s a great message of support, and unique because more and more teams are going the pink route in October to support breast cancer.
However, it would’ve been even better had Nike played along and helped out a bit in the uniform department. Instead it appears that Nike wouldn’t allow Purdue alternate uniforms.

Really Nike? How dare you help out and support a good cause in this case. Maybe you could stop work on the 1 millionth uniform combination for Oregon for just a few moments and do something to benefit others for a change.
